Client: Riverstone Properties

Project Description

Keswick Hall is a historic hotel located at the foothill of the Blue Ridge Mountain range. Townes Site Engineering was retained to assist in the renovation work of the property and specifically to assist with the reconstruction of the 18-hole championship golf course. The client engaged world renowned golf course architect, Pete Dye, to design a new 18-hole old world golf course located on the historic and spectacular landscape in Albemarle County. The Townes Team was hired to be the engineer of record for the project and obtain municipality and regulatory approvals as well as collaborate on environmental features to be preserved. In 2014, “Full Cry” playing between 5,000 and 7,000 yards from multiple tees opened.
