Agri-Nutrients | Dinwiddie County, Virginia

Overview

The Agri-Nutrients facility was developed by one of the largest companies specialized in animal nutrition, fertilizer research, and production, the Wilson Group Companies. Townes Site Engineering was contracted by Wilson Group to provide the civil engineering design services for the fertilizer plant located off of Route 1 in Dinwiddie County.

The project involved crossing jurisdictional Waters of the U.S. with the entrance drive but due to the time restrictions for the project it was not feasible to acquire the required State and local wetlands impacts permits while still meeting the client’s deadline. The Townes team solved the Waters of the U.S. impact issue by avoiding disturbing the stream to allow for the development to move forward and meet the client’s deadline.
